Rarely do we get an opportunity to see a private lodge of this stature. Meticulously designed and magnificently executed, this is truly one for the ages!
Employing post and beam construction, the lodge at Shining Mountain Ranch utilizes generous amounts of stone on its exterior. Pictured in the close-up above, as well as a wider view below, is the front facade with its large entry tower.
A side view shows some of the massive stone chimneys in this log cabin home design. Note the built-in storage area for firewood.
At the rear, a massive covered porch and stone terrace dominate the facade . . . . .
. . . with a close-up view showing a wall of multi-pane windows and doors that open onto the terrace, and enormous log columns supporting the porch roof.

A built-in bar is anchored on either end by massive log columns to support the structural beams overhead.
And finally, taking center stage, is the incredible media room pictured below. Over-stuffed sofas and chairs ensure a comfortable viewing experience in this monumental lodge!
